The Church Painting shows took place 2018 - 2019 in the housing co-op where I used to live in Borough - an old semi derelict church which was formerly Blackwing studios.  People with very different and specific relationships to painting were invited to exhibit work alongside one another; artists, non artists and everything in between. The works were shown in a salon style competing with each other for attention against the strong architectural features in the space. The events were relaxed and social with music and refreshments provided.
